There are times in life that we that we cannot overcome our problems alone. Sometimes these problems arise because of tension in the marriage relationship, behavioral issues with a child, depression, anxiety, or daily stressors that overwhelm us. How comforting is it to know that we don't have to walk these roads alone! Counseling will help clients understand their needs, focus on the cause of their problems and determine effective coping skills to deal with those issues. Catholic Charities Counseling Program is here to walk with you on your journey!
Catholic Charities of South Mississippi is pleased to announce an exciting new ministry that will bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. Surviving Divorce features twelve video presentations that cover topics such as shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, dealing with children and a former spouse, and annulment and remarriage. This program is for the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. It will help them find answers to their questions, restore their hope, and begin authentic healing.

Meetings will be held at the Catholic Charities of South Mississippi offices (located inside de l'Epee Deaf Center) at 1450 North Street, Gulfport.

Our agency recognizes the unique needs and challenges of those living in poverty and will accept all clients. Fees will be determined based on a sliding scale. Catholic Charities of South Mississippi is currently in the process of becoming credentialed with insurance companies so we can bill client insurances. We are currently able to bill the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield of MS, First Choice Health Plan of MS (SAS), Mississippi Physicians Care Network, & Cigna.
