Catholic Charities of South Mississippi is a licensed adoption agency that works with birth parents considering placing their child for adoption and couples seeking to find their forever child.
We acknowledge that giving a child life and placing them for adoption are two of the greatest gifts a person can give. Counseling and placement services are available to those seeking to find a forever home for their child.
Currently, our adoption program is not taking new applicants for domestic adoption through our agency.
Home studies and post-placement services are available for those seeking to adopt through another licensed adoption agency.

Guided by our Catholic faith and the belief in the sacredness of all human life (Psalm 139:13-14), we provide compassionate, confidential support to women experiencing unplanned or difficult pregnancies. We recognize that each situation is unique, and we are committed to walking alongside mothers with respect, dignity, and love as they consider their options.
We provide education about parenting, adoption planning, and available community resources so women can make fully informed decisions. In accordance with Catholic Social Teaching and our commitment to uphold the dignity of every person, we respect each woman’s rights, her voice, and her role as the primary decision-maker in her pregnancy plan.
Our services may include case management, emotional support, referrals for medical care, connection to community resources, and guidance through the adoption planning process if that path is chosen. For women considering adoption, we provide education on types of adoption plans, legal rights, and what to expect before and after placement.
We remain available for ongoing support, recognizing that this journey can involve complex emotions and life changes.
As Scripture reminds us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). Our goal is to ensure that no woman walks this journey alone and that every decision is made with support, understanding, and care.
All services are voluntary, confidential, and provided in partnership with each individual we serve.
